Privacy Policy
Written for both the companies that deploy ThirdEyee and the employees who use it. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
ThirdEyee Technologies Pvt. Ltd. provides a workforce tracking and HR platform that companies use for their own employees. Your employer decides how the platform is used. This policy explains what the ThirdEyee desktop agent and web platform collect, why, and who can see it.
What the desktop agent collects
- Application name and window title, about every 10 seconds while tracking is on
- Website address in supported browsers on Windows
- Number of key presses and amount of mouse use. We do not record which keys are pressed or what you type
- Idle time, IP address and Wi-Fi network name
- A screenshot about every 10 minutes, blurred if your company enables it, skipped when the window or site matches your company exclusion list
- GPS location, only when you click Verify My Location
When nothing is collected
Nothing is collected while tracking is paused or while you are on a break.
Web platform data
- Account details: name, work email and role
- Attendance, timesheets, leave, holidays, payroll, goals, appraisals, tasks and service desk tickets
- Basic profile details from Google or Microsoft if you sign in with them
- A record of each monitoring notice you acknowledge, with its version and time
Who can see it
- You can see your own data
- Managers see their own team, HR and Admin see their company, Clients see only their assigned project
- Live screen view is available only to an authorised manager, HR or Admin, and only while they have it open
- ThirdEyee staff access company data only to run and support the service
Screenshots and sensitive text
Your company can switch screenshots on or off, force blur, exclude sites and apps, and enable a scan that looks for sensitive words in screenshots.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by PhonePe on its own checkout. We keep invoices and payment status, not your card details.
Website visitors
If you use our contact form we store your name, email, company and message so we can reply. The form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam.
Retention
Retention periods are set by the company that uses ThirdEyee. Ask your administrator. To close a company workspace, email us.
Security
Access is checked by role and by company on the server, password resets use single-use email links, and important admin actions are logged.
Your rights and contact
Ask your employer first about access, correction or a concern about your data. You can also write to support@thirdeyee.com.
Changes
If we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell company admins.
